Composing Stories on the Trail
Use the trail itself as a leading line, sweeping the viewer from foreground rocks to far ridgelines. Crouch lower to exaggerate curves, or step to the inside of a switchback for a more inviting bend. Footprints and textures subtly hint at the day’s adventure.
Composing Stories on the Trail
Place wildflowers, driftwood, or a patterned boulder in the foreground to add depth and context. Shoot low and close, then stop down for extended focus. If wind sways blooms, try a faster shutter or blend frames later to preserve their delicate, trail-side poetry.
